ABOUT DAWN

Dawn Kate Carr is a freelance designer and illustrator, whose work is often one foot in the world of fantasy and the other in natural science. She is influenced by the aesthetics of the natural world as well as the imaginative imagery of Dungeons and Dragons. 

Dawn graduated VCUarts in 2017 with a BFA in Communication Arts. She currently lives in Richmond, Virginia with her partner and two cats, Murphy and Kitten Tarantino. She spends her free time sketching, watching anime and researching true crime and weird insects.
